In our first meeting, you have the opportunity to meet and build rapport with the Mediator. First and foremost, we want you to know, and feel, that you are in safe place. We will talk about divorce and determine if it is the best step moving forward. We want you to ask a lot of questions about our process, legal statutes and any other concerns you may have.
You and your spouse will be meeting with the Mediator together and we will have an open discussion about what brought you to this point in the relationship and what your divorce options are. We will also talk about the advantages and disadvantages of separation.
After this meeting, you will have a better understanding of the mediation process and you will leave with less stress because you will have answers to the many questions that are running through your head.
